Handbook for UCSC Principal Investigators (PDF) This handbook consolidates most of the information needed by UCSC Principal Investigators (PIs) in the process of securing extramural support. It includes details of proposal submission and discusses items, which can delay processing. PIs are encouraged to scan this handbook when contemplating the submission of a proposal so ample time is allowed for review. Many items can be handled in advance. This handbook is also meant to provide a guide for meeting the audit requirements of various funding agencies and for avoiding administrative problems, which can be frustrating.
