Save your application in Word (.doc) and email it as an attachment to carc@ucsc.edu. Please cc your Co-Respondent. If sent by the Co-Respondent, the PI must be cc'd in your email.
Effective July 1, 2009: To obtain IACUC approval, all personnel named on an IACUC application must participate in the Animal Care and Use Occupational Health Program (ACUOHP). This program is administered by EH&S. For more info, go to:http://ehs.ucsc.edu/lab_research_safety/animal_research.php
IACUC Training Requirement
To obtain approval for new proposals and three-year renewals, all personnel named on an IACUC application must pass the IACUC online training program covering federal laws and policies that govern animal research.
